Microsoft offers the latest version of Windows packaged for virtual machines. It is available for VMWare, Hyper-V (Gen2), VirtualBox and Parallels.

Included:

  • Window 11 Enterprise (Evaluation)
  • Visual Studio 2022 Community Edition with UWP, .NET Desktop, Azure, and Windows App SDK for C# workloads enabled
  • Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 enabled with Ubuntu installed
  • Windows Terminal installed
  • Developer mode enabled

MaxMind provides GeoIP as a service to locate Internet users based on their geographical location. Additional analytics are also available including user connection speeds and ISPs.

Use of the free service is available through their GeoLite2 Free Geolocation Data platform. It is well-documented and easy to use. It is particularly well suited for small operations or project development.
